Geeling Ng, now known as Geeling Ching, is a New Zealand model, actress, and restaurateur born in Auckland. She gained fame as the title character in David Bowie’s 1983 music video for the hit single "China Girl", despite having no prior acting experience. Her acting credits include Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) and Desperate Remedies (1993). Before relocating to Sydney, she modeled for Thornton Hall and Adrienne Winkelmann. Ng currently hosts a cooking segment on TV ONE’s Asia Downunder and was operations manager at Soul Bar & Bistro in Auckland’s Viaduct. In 2008, she appeared on Dancing with the Stars.
