Mander Organs

N.P Mander Limited, later known as Mander Organs Limited, was an English pipe organ maker and refurbisher based in London. Founded in 1936 by Noel Mander, the company became renowned for the refurbishment of the Royal Albert Hall's Grand Organ in 2004 and for building celebrated instruments such as the large mechanical-action organ at the Church of St Ignatius Loyola in New York. Known for their use of tracker action, Mander organs are praised for their expressive sound. The company faced early challenges during the Blitz but prospered post-World War II. It became employee-owned in 2018 before filing for insolvency in 2020, after which its intellectual property was acquired by F. H Browne and Sons.

Employing several ex N.P Mander staff, F.H Browne & Sons trades as Mander Organ Builders.

Instruments by the original NP Mander Ltd / Mander Organs Ltd are found throughout the world, including in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the Middle East, Scandinavia and the United States.
