Nick Stringer (born 10 August 1948 in Torquay, Devon) is an English actor with a forty-year career in British television and film. He is best known for playing PC Ron Smollett in The Bill (1990–1993) and appeared in popular series like Only Fools and Horses, Minder, and Press Gang. His film roles include The Long Good Friday and Clockwise. Nick lives in Bristol and recorded an interview for The Bill Podcast in 2018.
