Roberto Sabatini
Aerospace scientist

Roberto Sabatini is an Australian aerospace researcher and academic specializing in avionics, spaceflight and robotics/autonomous systems. He is a full professor at Khalifa University in the United Arab Emirates, and an honorary professor at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.

He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and the Royal Aeronautical Society, and is editor of a number of journals in the field.

He has received several awards, such as the Arch T. Colwell Merit Award - Society of Automotive Engineering (2015), Scientist of the Year - Australian Defense Industry Awards (2019). and Distinguished Leadership Award from Aviation/Aerospace Australia in 2021.
