The Sinhalese Akṣara Mālāva, one of the <a href="/facts/Brahmic_scripts/mwHJWt6d">Brahmic scripts</a>, is a descendant of the <a href="/facts/Ancient_India/ntYkAYDQ">Ancient Indian</a> <a href="/facts/Brahmi_script/Bflxwzu6">Brahmi script</a>. It is thought to be derived from <a href="/facts/Grantha_script/V329dYoU">Grantha script</a>. </p>
