List of FIFA World Cup finals
Football tournament

The FIFA World Cup is a global association football tournament held every four years by Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), except during World War II. The competition’s final is a decisive one-off match, with extra time and a penalty shoot-out if needed. Only European (UEFA) and South American (CONMEBOL) teams have reached the final, with Brazil holding five titles. Other multiple winners include Italy, Germany, and current champion Argentina, who won the 2022 final at Qatar’s Lusail Stadium.
